Foundation Course ~ Spring 2026
Monday Night
04/06 to 06/08/26
At Tri Blade, we’re returning to our roots by teaching all three fencing weapons in one comprehensive course. Students will start with three to four weeks of foil, focusing on fundamentals like form, footwork, and timing. Next, we’ll move into épée, where precision and patience are key as fencers learn the art of the full-body target. The course will finish with saber, emphasizing speed, control, and attack strategy. By the end, students will have a well-rounded understanding of all three disciplines—building versatility, skill, and confidence on the strip.
Music and Motion with swords

Music and Motion with Swords is an engaging course that blends rhythm, movement, and sword artistry. Using music as the foundation, students will explore how timing, flow, and expression enhance their sword flourishing and performance. Each session combines choreography, coordination, and creativity—transforming fencing-inspired movements into a graceful, musical experience. Current Courses
Foil Fencing
Monday at 6:30 pm
10/06 to 12/08/25
This 9-week session, for beginner and returning-fencer foil course, introduces foundational body positions, attacks, and defensive movements while steadily building confidence and control on the strip. Students progress from essential techniques such as en garde, lunges, thrusts, advances, retreats, and parries to partner drills that develop quadrant attacks, parry-riposte exchanges, and footwork fluency. Each week expands on the previous one—covering right-of-way, managing measure, basic refereeing, and eventually advanced actions like pattinando, balestras, and stop-hits—while regular footwork drills help new and experienced fencers grow together in a structured, supportive environment. ky
